I think I got enough of what was going on, but this was quite excellent. I don't believe anyone's written Temari during wartime before, so I thought this was well characterized.

All in all I enjoyed this a lot. Hopefully you'll write more ShikaTema in the future, yes? :D

Meh, hopefully I will, but when I try to suggest it they look at me disinterestedly and go back to lounging in the background of most of my stuff. -_-

hm, I remember reading wartime ShikaTema but it tended to focus on Shikamaru's PoV, and it may have been more of a mood piece.

Temari was great to write, so I'm really glad you liked it and found her believable. Thank for your kind words. :)

Oh, I do believe that I love this chapter even more than your previous ones, if such is even possible. I love the oblique way you approach this story through people who are only vaguely related to the Hyuuga, if only because it serves as a beautiful way of showing how fucked up the clan really is from the outside peering in

Yeah, there's that. There's also the fact that no-one from the outside cares enough to try and understand what's going on and what the repercussions are, before Naruto decides that it's his business.

Wee, thanks for telling me that about Temari! She's just so much fun to write. (Damn, I need a Temari fangirl icon to express my love.)

I fail at imagining ShikaIno. InoShikaChou OT3, I get. ShikaIno? Just... where?

Temari has no involvement with the Hyuuga - she wasn't born in Konoha and, the way I write her, has no respect for clans. It makes her much more impartial than a lot of others. (And I'm so glad you liked Temari's realisation about Hinata; I loved writing it, but I was afraid it'd be too... over the top?)

I have to say this is a very interesting NejiHina fic and I can't wait to read the next part. There are a few things that were worked so well in the plot and I didn't expect them (like the Hyuga being given the seal on masse) which makes the fic even more delightful

Temari is particularly fun to write. And, being a Kazekage's daughter, I suppose she'd know a lot about authority and what makes a leader. Then again, she turned out even more opiniated that I first imagined but I think that suits her. And probably Shikamaru as well (he's not exactly a fragile porcelain doll either. TemaShika, least romantic couple on earth.)

I wonder if you will let us know how he reacted to the news (apart from being suicidal and crazed, I got that part).
I think I'm going to have to disappoint - next part is back to the village and, well, they won't care about it. I'd like to write a ficlet about it one day, but it'll probably be a moodpiece and I'm going to have to struggle mightily with Neji at least. And probably Shino as well.

I'm not very good at leaving comments... so I'll just say I LOVED this chapter, it's been the best, but far (not because the other's weren't just as good, but because it had my favorite couples in, and the characters were so AWESOMELY IC....)
