I like nekkid-Trickster too! :3 Hee, brilliant, all of it ^__^ I especially love the brainstorm of Trickster being Nekron's son. Too bad Nekron's dead now, though I've no doubt that'll be swept under the carpet eventually.

Of course Nekron's dead, he's like the Lord of the Underworld. Black Hand thinks he's sexy, though.

Who doesn´t love a naked Trickster? *g*

I came up with James=Neron´s son last Halloween for a cheesy scary fic, but the more I think about, the more I can rationalize it in my mind.

And really, who stays dead anymore? Especially villains...

I think my favourite has to be "It's Not Mine." Those poor boys, having to come up with a decent plan to return Bat!Baby without dying. XD On the other hand, the idea of Neron having a more personal connection to Trickster is awfully intriguing.

originally that was just a plot twist for a cheesy halloween fic from last year, but it just grew on me^^

.....Hey, math magicians ARE totally cool!

...if you're a nerd...

As I'm more literary-inclined than mathematically, maths (and particularly applied maths) always seemed a little magical to me, if only because I could never grasp the mechanics of anything more complicated than the rule of 3 and the Pythagorean theorem :o) So I think I would have liked a math magician :D

I've spent my whole life struggling with math and was deemed "learning disabled" on the subject in school, so I know what you mean. Wouldn't want a math magician at my party, however, as for me math has always brought pain :] My parents and teachers drilled and tutored me ENDLESSLY on it.

On the other hand, Roscoe is essentially a self-taught engineer and physicist, so it's no surprise that he'd think math is awesome :>

"Learning disabled"? That's horrible words to force on a child! I was never labelled that, although I profoundly felt that way is all scientific subjects (maths, physics, biology). I never could figure out why I could never get grades higher than 5 to 9/20 on something that fascinated me as much as volcanoes and earthquakes did. The last maths exam I had to take was when I took my Baccalauréat ten years ago (that's the big, multi-subject exam we take at the end of high school in France); it was only a practice test, but I painfully scraped a 5/20 and I was never more glad to ditch it after graduation. But that's part of the past now :o)

When HTMLcomics was still running I read a few Silver-Age Flash comics and was surprised how much science there was. I mean, it felt like they went out of their way to sound scientific and get the facts right, and in this context a self-taught engineer and physicist makes a perfect villain :o) I can just see Roscoe trying to instil the love of science into his kids, too :D

If the baby from "Ummm...it´s not mine" wasn't a girl, I'd think you've been reading some of The Black Cat's adorable fancomics :D Love that one, it's amazing how easy it is for us to think that a bunch of (mostly) gruff, blue-collared villains can be so adorable :o)

Bouncy castles are fun. Yeah, I'm almost 30 kilos too heavy and a couple of decades too old for 'em, but... they're fun :P Although the mental image of Michael Amar and Al Desmond having tea and cakes... Murmur socialising... Huh. Wonder what they talk about :P

"Blood" is a fascinating idea. I mean, talk about JJ being silver-tongued...

"I'll just pretend I don't know you" and "Kids" are hilarious. Yes, I'm aware that I'm using this word far too often when describing your stories, but I'm too lazy to search for synonyms and these snippets are snort-whatever-you're-currently-drinking-through-your-nose funny anyway :o)

"They (...) pretended that absolutely nothing had happened, that they had seen nothing, heard nothing and were generally very, very oblivious."They're ( ... )

I have been reading the comic (and the prompt was "Rogues find baby Terry) and the baby is Terry, but then he´s wearing a full body costume and the Rogues aren´t exactly experts concerning babies, so Mark calls Terry a girl because he doesn´t know any better (another reason why him keeping the baby would be a terrible idea^^)

they´re talking about adult stuff, gas prices rising, weather being too humid, cake tasting great - everyday stuff that is boring for kids^^

Thanks for sharing these excellent ficlets!
you´re very welcome^^
