I don't think it's just you hating Rose that made you unimpressed with this Who special, I liked Rose but even I thought this episode was a stinking pile of reindeer poo. I thought it would be amazing, turns out I was wrong and the trailers for the new season did little to impress me.

The only thing that made me happy was the Dalek at the end of the trailer. I love Daleks! I seriously want an 'I heart Daleks' t shirt, with a heart and a picture of a Dalek rather than words :) THAT Dalek in fact, he's the fun Dalek.
