Cleveland Rocks and Runs!

May 20, 2007 21:04

I have to say that I haven't had such a good run in, well, EVER. There were a few things that I would have changed, but for the most part, I had a fantastic time.

The whole story )

I'm so proud of you. I knew you could do it. I have horrible insomnia right now and I hopped on LJ and intentionally went right to your journal because I hoped you'd have a race report...Let us know if you're sore tomorrow. :) I was sore after my 10 miler.

thanks!! =)

unfortunatly, i don't have any pics. =( and i'm really sad about that. i packed for this race like 4 days in advance because i was out of town for something else, and just never thought to bring my camera. i might take some pics of my medal and maybe google has some of the race course. (or maybe they took our pics on the course! hmmm...) anyway, i'll see what i can do. =)

Hey,

I wandered over from runners...I'm sure they had photographers along the course and as long as your number was displayed where they could identify, they'll ID them and you'll be able to view. It looks like Brightroom took the candids along the course. It would be worth it to order a picture or two to commemorate this event!

Hope that helps! I bring my posse (parents & husband) otherwise I'd never get pictures either. ;)

yeah i just went to brightroom's website and they did have the pics but they aren't up yet. so i gave them my name and email and bib number and they said they would email me when the photos are ready. yayyy. =) (although, they are going to be really bad. i look terrible when i am running, hahaha...) normally i do have more people at races with me, but this time it was just my mom and she had a different start time, finished before me, etc. so we never did see each other til about 20 minutes after i finished.

That is fantastic!! I'm proud of you! This got me excited for my race, even if I'm feeling not so ready at this moment in time ;)

thanks!!! hey, all i had was that one god-awful 10 miler, and a couple of 8 milers under my belt. if you can get in an 8 or 9, that may be all you need! i didn't feel prepared at *all*, but it ended up that i was more prepared than i thought i was. =)
