Is it petty not to watch a show just because you hate an actors name in RL?

I was so ill yesterday I ended up watching Criminal Minds with my also ill mum.
I do not enjoy being wrong about tv shows but I am considering the possibility I was about CM. (it destroys me inside to admit that)
It held my interest even though I kept trying to make the plot lines more complicated then they actually were.
The fact its on Channel 1

All I know about Criminal Minds is that Garcia is pretty cool, the limp haired guy's actor is randomly popular and the main older dude also starred in 'Dead Like Me' so I'm left wondering why a dead guy is solving murders.
