It's sort of sad that both mother and son separated.
Elizabeth's second husband seemed to want only her attention.
I wonder if he 'hid' her invitation. I hope that her and her
son talk more. Lovely story! Thank you!

Aw, thank you! And, yes, it came up in another piece somewhere that the second husband did indeed hide the invitation and other letters between them. (He had issues!)
