You always manage to make the most mundane snippets of life so enjoyable to read! And I really appreciated the contrast between a sadder part of Edward's life with Caroline and the happiness he had with Julia--since as we all know I adore that couple! :)

If Caroline has not left Edward, he would have never
met Julia! Has he interacted with Caroline since she
left?

No, indeed. Or at least, he wouldn't have been able to marry her so quickly! He sees Caroline regularly, because she's also a friend of Diana Foyle, so she has popped up in a couple of fics.

Awww, dang, I missed reading about these two so much! I love the contrast. And I'm glad that things didn't ultimately work out between Edward and Caroline too. (Though that feels mean, somehow? Hmm.)
