I am still in awe at how much you've managed to think up for this canon... It's so interesting to read about characters like Edward and Julia, and then their parents' and siblings' and even grandparents' stories as well!

Aw, thanks! And the truth is, ever since I was a teenager, I've had a habit of drawing family trees for my characters, and it's fatal. :-)

That's so neat! I've only ever done it once, because family history was involved in the plot of a story. More often than not, my characters' parents and siblings (and any extended family beyond that) aren't relevant to the plot and therefore don't really get explored.

I think I just accidentally got into the habit, so i'd keep track of basic background things, but of course, then I make up stories about the other names on the tree as I go! :-)

So, does that mean that Edward's grandfather was a pirate of industry instead? XD

Anyway, I enjoyed this! The detail was very nice.

Thank you!

Well, that's what Edward's father said once, but whether he was being fair is another matter. ;-p (Edward was v young at the time, and thought being a pirate was a perfectly reasonable explanation for his grandfather.)
