...I'm not sure how to feel about this. It's sort of... it goes from light mundane-daily-life humor to super creepiness really, really quickly. I assume that's what you were going for. Double thumbs up :D

It was, thank you! Her storyline is definitely darker than some characters, and sort of shows the creepier side to this 'verse, I think. :)

This piece ended with a shudder from me, so job well done. I cannot imagine the horror of being coerced into babysitting in the afterlife. And I actually like kids.

The transition between normalcy to creepy was abrupt and wonderful, like everything else. :)

Thanks! I was hoping the transition would work (abrupt was what I was aiming for), and I totally agree about being stuck babysitting forever. Not for me. LOL.

I figure some of them died and didn't become ghosts, but I think for the future arc I have planned to work (though watch me never write it, lol, I bounce around a lot), some of them have to be ghosts, as well. I think it depends a lot.
