I do too, Adam! It happens a lot in my writing. Basically, they were using him and a bunch of other kids for labor, after brainwashing them into thinking that there was nothing better out there for them.

Yeah, his life is only going up from here :) Glad the delight came across! Yeah, he has a few bumps trying to adjust to the world but overall, things work out well for him.
