I think the first 3 words of this piece sum up Christine's predicament perfectly... she doesn't have the remotest clue. I feel quite sorry for her in a way, but also for Adam. Hopefully things will work out okay. Nicely done :)

Looks like Adam loves his family and perhaps Christine didn't have that so she doesn't understand or thinks that his family is being 'too nosy'. I hope that it works out for her or Adam or one of his friends could clue her in.

Yeah Christine doesn't understand very much, but that's mostly because she wants all attention on her. Things get better for awhile before it goes under again, but for now its good.
