Whoa! That's one heck of a way to meet new people... Something tells me that Soul's observations at the end are correct. There's an undercurrent to this that seems to suggest the way Gemma grows up isn't all down to her adoptive family's influence. It works especially well that it's from her pov. Nicely written :)
