This whole thing was greatness! I especially love the part where Soul came to her rescue. Merit was professional, respectful and most obviously valued her life. I bet she earned every cent that was on that check.

Thanks! Merit's the kind of associate that the Blazes are willing to pay for because she will get the job done with a minimum of fuss. Wonderful woman! XD

Ha ha, love that it is the amount of the check that made Merit swear and not all the stress of planning the wedding. I would like to see more of Aaron. He seems like such a great foil for Firebird.

Merit was always looking for a reason to curse, of course it would be the Blazes that give it to her! Aaron's character is one of those that I can't flesh out until I'm actually writing him. He is turning into a much better foil to Firebird than I expected. I like him! ;) Thanks for reading.

I love how Merit stays perfectly calm and professional all through everything, and then finally loses it at the end. That must be some huge sum.

And Soul is awesome, and I hope Gina was ok in the end after the cake incident!

The Blazes have never been stingy about giving people incentives to do their best work, and super efficient Merit is definitely the kind of associate that Firebird likes best! Thanks for reading.
