I'm not so sure Oistin knows as much as he thinks about friendship. That is one calculating man. Braden seems to be wise to him though, which could be very good for Braden. Nicely done :)

He certainly does not know a lot about friendship - Oistin is ruthless through and through, which could turn out badly for Slone. Braden knows that about Oistin, though; that's why he's using him right now. Thank you! :]

Haha, he does that :]. Thank you; Braden's going to be around for a while so I'm hoping he'll turn out to be interesting :D

Ooh, nice little scene. It looks like there are quite a few things brewing just beneath the surface here.

I love your balance between description and dialog. I always fall into too much of one or the other. XD

Haha, thank you :] I tend to lean on dialogue, because I find it easier to write - I hate doing long passages of description; I tend to bore myself ;] heh.

Although I am new to your canon (and will remedy this!) I really liked the characterization of Oistin through this piece! It was very powerful (and sort of scary!)

Aha, thank you! :] Oistin is a bit scary, yes - he's ruthless, through and through. I'm glad you liked it, though! :D
