Aha, oh my God, this is amazing! :D I love Crumbs, the talking cat, I love the chocolate-coated strawberries (and yes, you'd totally want to eat vegetables after eating all that candy), I love the pirates and their parrots...

Most of all, I think I love the last line :]. I can't wait for more of this! :D

I'm glad you like it! I was really nervous about changing stories when I had posted so infrequently, but Hans and Ginny (and especially Crumbs) are just so much fun.

Cats are the masters. They should give classes.

YAY CANDYLAND! Only one other person has ever seen that connection to this story.

Haha! I love this take on the original tale! I wonder what's going to happen to them now.

I'm a huge fan of fairy tales, even ones set in the future with candy planets and zombie stepmoms, so give me more of this! It's awesome!

I agree. Traditionals, sticking them in the future, twisting them into all sorts of other shapes, all are excellent. :D

Oh this is lovely! The twist on the old tale is awesome, and I love that you managed to get in all the hints of the back story from the last book while still making it a story that can stand alone perfectly well without all of the history behind what happened.

There are so many things that are awesome in this that I don't even know where to begin. Crumbs the Canary Cat (I love that concept) has a really fun personality, and OMG Ginny's lines at the end rocked.

Your pirates are awesome, too. So were all of the candy details (right down to their couch cushions, awesome), and the plant itself sounds like it would great fun (both to build and be on, though, like them, I think I would get sick of all the candy after awhile), and SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS!
