I'm not sure they trust him - I certainly don't think Hobbie does - but I don't think they really know what else to do either. Hopefully they will all have a good night, and Wes won't horrify his date, too much ;)

Hobbie doesn't trust him at all after Face made him torture Kenneth in the basement. It will take a long time to win that trust back.

This does make him more sympathetic in my eyes; he knows he's got a hell of a task but he steps up to the plate anyway. Good on you, Face. Very emotional and insightful piece, great job!

He does a lot of very wrong stuff afterwards (kidnaos Kenneth out of Cerberus custody so he can have Hobbie torture him in the basement without the others knowing and wants to kill him in the end) but I think a lot of those decisions are because he's just not ready for the job yet.

What did Kenneth do? And this does really make Face incredibly sympathetic. I also like the empathy he clearly feels for Stella and Dennis when they were in his situation.

Kenneth defected and during the chase that ensued, he shot Tom, the team's doctor and Face's best friend. People are not exactly fond of him afterwards.
