PLATZCHEN! You have no idea how excited for coming home in a week this made me :) MY MOMMY WILL BE MAKING TONS OF PLATZCHEN! *cough* I'm a mature adult... *cough*
I love the touch about Max making Brownies for Ripley ;) It's cute :P And I love the last line... what do you mean, cookies aren't healthy? Ripley's explanation of Helena's and Max's relationship sounds pretty awesome too :P
Also, i will catch up, I promise!
STILL LOVING KENNEDY OVER HERE! :P

LMAO! Finally someone who understands. I only get to make Vanillekipferl because Matze would KILL me if I made more than one kind (and I don't blame him). Last year was the first time I made them; my mom was never a baker and we never had plätzchen when I was growing up. I guess this is my trying to compensate ;)

This was the perfect break from paper writing. Thank you, I needed it.

I love Max and Ripley. A lot of Ripley and Kennedy's lines made me laugh, especially Of course I told him I didn’t mind but how could he be so stupid as to think that that’s true? Poor Kennedy.

And Max and his frantic cookie baking is making me want cookies!!!

Max is not good at reading what I'd call a very obvious message (and Helena would agree). I think Kennedy needs Ripley to talk her down a lot in the beginning (and even later). He seems better at this whole mixed message thing.

Max is the only character I have that loves baking and cooking and thinks everything should be made from scratch. Also, he can make whatever local foods I'm carving while writing ;)

Kennedy, just tell him how you feel. Don't play those games!

Ah hem. :)

But I'm a sucker for moments between Ripley and Kennedy and those wouldn't happen half as often if Max didn't border the stupid territory when it came to obvious messages like that. My NaNo (that grew increasingly plotless) had way too much of Kennedy and Ripley sitting around talking.
