Yeah, I think Rebecca lost control the moment she married Frank, even if she didn't know it for a couple more years, and she's overcompensating by trying to take care of Michael and failing. In a lot of ways she's as much a victim as her kids.

That's... somewhat disterbing. I have to wonder if her family started pulling back because they couldn't cope with her not coping. Vicious circle kind of thing. Nicely explored :)
