*shivers* Who needs zombie plagues? We could wipe ourselves out with remnants of the past.

I spy a morbid AU on the horizon. I know I've been warned but I still need to prepare. Great tone, really ominous and movie-voiceover, and the "REMAIN CALM" one is especially creepy. Argh.

Hope your day gets/got/is/what's a timezone better. <3

Don't worry; this AU will have two more stories at most. I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if it was in a deeply creepy way.

It did! Killing off people in writing does that for me, oddly enough.

That's pretty much the way the Black Death worked; sneak into a town, and then when it's too late show itself and terrify everyone. It's so much fun to write, and here's hoping it never comes back in reality.

They're no one special, honestly. Just some people made up for this. None of them are related to any of my mains except insofar as they live in the same place.

Thank you!

Nice pocky chain! I really like the sense of mounting despair and chaos as the disease spreads.

Thank you very much! That was exactly what I was going for, this rising sense of panic and fear.

Viral-type apocalypses are always the scariest, but GAH. SO CREEPY. Wonderful job with the anthropomorphic bits doing nothing to humanize the virus so much as make it even scarier, and also well done with the martial law announcement and the woman who fled but didn't really. I'll find this story again in my nightmares tonight. Probably shouldn't have read this with a fever. -_-

Likewise sorry you had A Day. At least, as you said, you got to kill 90% of the world and not get caught?

(Hope you're feeling more well off today.)

Er, sorry? I did warn for viral infections... oh, well. I hope that you do not have the Black Death. The Black Death is no fun.

And yeah! That's the best part of being a writer. :D

Thank you! I'm feeling much better.
