I love the description of the private sun eclipsing and all the little background details for the world. This is such an awesome AU. Plus, Paul/Firebird! They work so well together even if it's not canon.

I do love this AU. The Paul/Firebird fluff was so sweet and I loved the little descriptions, like how her robe fit and the about the sky. Love the banter about good breeding.

This is such a fun AU. Paul and Firebird are so adorable together (which is not something I thought I'd say, given them in canon, but they work here), and I'm so curious as to how Reyne left the ship... I gather it wasn't good. Great job!

I agree, I probably am never going to get Paul and Firebird together in canon but something about space makes their relationship work! And your instincts about Reyne's departure are spot on. ;) Thanks for reading.
