looks awesome - you should paint more often! (and you know my feelings on ballpoint pen) and I love the texture with the splatter and hatching. And what's wrong with purple?

thank you! I'm planning on doing more traditional painting :) And I usually use microns with my watercolors which have a very different look, but I do like the effect of the ball point so I might try more of that.

Awesome stuff! The colours look great, like they're his mood bleeding on out of him, and the ink works well as well. It makes the scene speak of 'dark' without actually looking too dark to see. Nicely done :)

This is really awesome. I think the purple really works, actually, because it gives a shade of sameness and almost depressing routine to this (I could be wrong, am commenting without having read the story behind it yet). It really turned out quite striking!
