Oh, it would be difficult as hell, and Ivy knows that. Jake is underestimating what she went through. And he's so determined to protect Olivia that he's neglected to realize that, yeah, not wholly his decision.

Thank you very much! They really are meant for each other, although it's going to be a lot tougher here than it is in canon, thanks to religious shenanigans. It'll work out eventually.

Jake's concerns are completely understandable here and it's easy to see why he would think twice about asking Olivia to marry him. But I'm glad he might do it and hope he does. They can make it work.
