Superman saved the world from a machine (?) with his perfect pitch in Final Crisis! Or something like that. I know he saved the world by singing one single perfect note. It is a super power.

Their conversation is really cute (and I remember liking A Walk To Remember even though I watched it ages ago).

Really? I didn't know that! Go Superman :D Perfect pitch can be awesome, but it can also be a pain in the ass. As displayed here. Also, Walk to Remember is one of my favorite movies.

Thank you so much!

I really like the Laura/Kevin dynamic. We need to see more of them together. And I like seeing Laura have something that's all hers to be excited about - usually she's all about being there for everyone else. :)

Perfect pitch is like a super power. I was always jealous and in awe of those who had a good sense of pitch. I could play, but I always had a hell of a time with tuning because I just couldn't hear which way it was off.

Can do! I really enjoy writing them. :D And Laura's musicianship is something I've always thought about with regards to her character but haven't explored too much other than that the guitar is her primary instrument. Thank you so much!

Relative pitch, which can be almost as good as perfect pitch if it's trained, is something that a person can learn through theory and such! It just takes some practice.

Ha! I don't plan on teaching instrumental music but I can totally see why your teacher would want you to learn that, since it's the tuning note. Violin is an awesome instrument, but I suck at it. A lot.

Thank you! I was really happy to be able to write this for Lilith Fair week since it's a trait she's always had but that I haven't developed much.

Perfect pitch is totally a superpower! My brother's girlfriend has perfect pitch, and wow I wish I could do that.

Great piece, very cute! I love the bantering between the characters.

Perfect pitch is both awesome and an occasional pain in the ass. :P

Thank you so much! I really have a lot of fun with these two.

Awwww, that is so sweet and cute. I'm with Kevin, though, Walk to Remember was kind of a really cheesy book (did not see movie). I love Laura and Kevin's interaction here. Nicely done.

I can completely see why you'd take Kevin's side, although I loved the book and even more so when I found out Jamie was based on Sparks' sister who also died of cancer. The movie is...less cheesy, I think. Thanks so much! I have a lot of fun writing Laura and Kevin together, I must admit.
