LOL! Very socially observant piece. This made me smile. I've had the experience of buying newborn baby clothes twice in the past week - one unknown, and one girl. The unisex choices were a triple pack of white sleepsuits, a stripy sleepsuit duo, an animal sleepsuit triple set, and a really expensive yellow sleepsuit with a duck on. The half a store full of baby girls clothes were universally pink. (And the other half of the store was universally blue). Defining the genders happens early now. Really nice work on this piece :)

The whole "gendering" phenomena is...weird. I always thought kids were supposed to be kids while they were kids. Apparently not.

Awww, that's sweet, and I think a good method of parenting, to let the kid choose. Also, lightsabers are awesome.

Yes, lightsabers are great (preferably if they're real ;)). I'm definitely behind letting kids show their own preferences.
