Wow! What a bombshell! I don't think I blame Jason at all for wanting Kyla to leave. I like seeing the emotion from Kyla - it does make her a bit more of a semi-sympathetic character. Nice use of the egg to add to the hit of the last line :D

I knew that the reveal would be the end but I just had Jason ranting before that. I hate the prompt (and it's the second story on RaTs I've written for that prompt) but I'm quite happy with the outcome.
