This is one of those colliding pieces that is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I've always loved Sorin and Ani's relationship: how close and filled with trust they are for each other. Edward was an arse so I'm not particularly upset about his death-- actually, I'm more worried about whatever emotional backlash it may have had on Ani.

Loved the dialogue. Ani's skirting and hesitancy was really clear.

Yeah, it felt a little awkward as I wrote it - but what about that conversation wouldn't be awkward? Ani does have some backlash from it, but things move fairly quickly after it happens and Sorin moves back in soon, so even if he doesn't know, she has his support again and that helps a lot.

Thank you!

Like Nina, I feel like the worst part of this is the damage that killing Edward might have caused to Ani. From the info in this piece alone, he seemed like a horrible person and had it coming and I think it's very impressive how supportive Sorin is when he finds out because most people freak out when they hear confessions about murder.

She definitely has some damage, but she does all right by keeping busy and trying not to think about it. Edward was an incredibly horrible person. Sorin's...well, he hated Edward with as much passion as is possible, so he's far more concerned about Ani and what damage it has done/is doing to her.

I actually think it was kinda awesome of Ani - sure, she killed someone, but that someone was Edward, and h had it all coming. Poor girl's going to need a lot of help afterward, though. Good thing she has Sorin.

Haha, that was kinda my opinion too when I realized this was how Edward died. SOMEONE needed to do the deed and Ani deserved the chance to be the one, as much mental damage as it does her. It takes her a while after this to be all right again but she manages :) Sorin's such a good influence on her!

I'm so glad that Sorin is someone she trusts enough to tell her terrible secret to, even if she is afraid to at first. I can imagine it would be a hard thing to know you're responsible for someone's death, even if that person was as terrible a person as Edward. It's good that Ani has Sorin.

She knows she has to tell Sorin and that he'll understand, but that doesn't necessarily make it a lot easier to do. I think it can be really hard for Ani to have killed Edward, despite knowing the world is a better place without him. Ani and Sorin are my favorites :)

Oh, God, poor Ani FOREVER. I'm glad Edward's dead, he was such an asshole. Ani and Sorin relationship is sweet as always, though. :D

I knowww, just remember you encouraged me to do this :P Ani and Sorin are love! And Edward needed to die and somehow this fits better than a heart attack...
