Title: Hugs and Kisses
Summary: Five Valentine's Days throughout the years with five different couples
Notes: All the lyrics are in italics and are from Social Disease by Bon Jovi. I know its a little late for Valentine's Day but I couldn't get the idea out of my head.

You can read it in the papers, in some places it comes in thirty-two flavors
"You're supposed to be in New York," Denise said when the shock wore off after opening the door to see her husband standing there, with a dozen red roses.
"Did you think I was going to miss another Valentine's Day? I told your receptionist to not book any appointments tonight," Russ said with a sheepish smile, giving his wife the roses.
"Go get ready. We've got dinner reservations in an hour." Denise put the roses down on a table and kissed her husband before running upstairs to find something to wear.

"What the hell do you mean?" Alex yells, sounding slightly hysterical.
"I love you," Romeo says like it fixes everything even though he knows it can't.
"Then why are you leaving?" Alex is crying now and Romeo only wants to comfort him.
"I want a record deal and I can't get that here," Romeo says, moving hesitantly towards Alex.
"Don't leave me," Alex launches himself at Romeo, crying as he burrows his head into Romeo's neck. Romeo whispers reassuring words while a bottle of wine stolen from his parents sits forgotten on the table.

Senorita's in the kitchen, she's a fistful of dynamite
"He's just some rock star Sarah," I don't understand why you're with him."
"I love him," Sarah said to Becca as they looked through clothing racks.
"He's always on tour. He's going to meet other girls. He couldn't even be here on Valentine's day. I just don't want you to get hurt," Becca said as she pulled a dress off the rack. "This will look beautiful on you. "
"I know you all hate Sammy but I'm happy with him Becca. Can't you try to understand?" Sarah said.
"I'll try to for you," Becca said and Sarah smiled her thanks.

"I love you," Alex says as a cheesy romantic comedy plays on the T.V.
"Love you too," Ryan smiles and leans in for a kiss. The bassist cherishes the alone time with Alex, with both Romeo and Jasper out of town.
"Miss this," Alex whispers against his lips.
"Run away with me," Ryan says, pulling back just enough to look into Alex's brown eyes.
"Maybe," Alex replies as he leans back in for another kiss. And when they head upstairs later they both know that they could never run away.

You call 911 but you can't stop the fun tonight, it's alright
Their first Valentine's Day together is the night before Jasper leaves for Florida. Romance was left at the door because they hadn't seen each other in weeks and Jasper was catching the first flight in the morning.
"Don't stop Jasper, please," Ryan didn't care that he was begging. He just wanted Jasper closer and his mouth on Ryan again. He wanted the night to last forever.
In the morning, when Jasper was hastily throwing on clothes, Ryan knew he'd be making a trip down to Florida that spring and not just for the baseball.
