LOL, I love this. I think Danny dealt with the Warminds' well-meaning insanity very well, and she got a nice moment of peace with Lars at the end. That very first pocky had me rolling and I didn't stop until the very end. Very nice use of the malt prompts.

Also, moar Danny/Lars please :D

Ha, yeah. The best way to deal with the Warmind family juggernaut is just to roll along with it and hope you don't get flattened. Danny's good at that, being familiar with the similar-but-smaller Hirschfeld-Kendall family juggernaut. XD

Thank you very much! There will be more Danny/Lars. I have to figure them out, after all. And I'm glad you liked the malt prompt use! I was very proud of myself.

Oh man, this started out great and just kept better with each piece. Four Toothy Beasts was handsdown my favorite! Great great job1

Thank you very much! Four Toothy Beasts was fun because I have two toothy beasts of my own (even if one of them is a cat), so I could crib off their least endearing behaviors. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The You Have Food stare! Yeah, my cat does it all the time, doesn't even matter if it's something she likes or not...

Mine does too, and so does the dog. I think it's hardwired into the pet genetic code: "if you have food, I want it." Cats, of course, tend to add the charming "it is my due, puny human, give it to me" note.

Not so long ago, Danny would have said that she'd had quite enough of families. Now she wasn't so sure.

So Danny just might be my favourite all because of this! I love her character, her story, everything. And this. I know the feeling of thinking you're done with family, and then finding a new one. You captured everything so well.

Dude, awesome! I love Danny too; she's just one of the harder mains for me to write because her experience was so completely opposite my own. Knowing people like her will give me the motive to try it anyway, though. :D

I know the feeling of thinking you're done with family, and then finding a new one.

Yeah, Danny got lucky and got that feeling twice. *ruffles her*

I'm so glad you like this! Thanks for reading!

this is great-I love how you used all the prompts! Lars's place sounds like a bit of a mad house, but a quite enjoyable one XD I laughed at Henrik's "I will take you apart"

Oh, it is, especially when all the cousins and nephews and nieces are there, but it's a close, tight-knit family for all that, and the chaos is part of the charm. Henrik is just trying to protect his kid, but honestly, Danny could take him. XD

Thanks for reading!
