Jill is a little bit awful, I agree. And I also agree with Levee's Cliff's Notes speech, and want to use it on my own BFF but will probably not. Also, the list sounds like they were really awful about Darcy, poor thing.
I love sympathetic Levee, we don't see her often, and (as if you don't have enough arcs already?) I'm curious now about Levee's year in Catholic school too
lol LIKE WE CAN HAVE TOO MANY ARCS ;) I haven't thought that much about her Catholic school year to be honest, since it's pre where I initially started the story. But now I'm thinking about it of course...
I was thinking we have to see sympathetic/decent friend Levee sometimes so no one is like "why does anyone hang out with her??" She's not that bad-her meddling is just more fun to write! Thanks :)
You use some really excellent turns of phrase in this, it's not even worth trying to find them all and listing them because it's every other sentence! Also I love reading present tense (though I rarely write in it for some reason) and it was very well utilised here, too. :D
Boo for Darcy's insecurities. And for Jill. Falsely "friendly" bitches are the worst and most irritating kind.
aw thank you! I'm glad you found a bunch of lines you liked :) Definitely boo for Jill. I keep thinking there must be something redeeming about her but I can't get beyond...she can be sometimes? and Mike thinks she's funny? IDK, haha. Anyway, thanks for reading :D
