Notes: From a failed flavor binge. I tried to do it as a pocky chain, but they came out too disconnected, so have a bunch of pockies instead.
"I can do a paternity test if you want," Darcy says, out of the blue.
Hugh pauses in washing his hands. "I'm sorry?"
"You and your daughter," she says. "Just to be sure. After that shit went down last week, I thought you would want to know."
Hugh does not yell at her. He inhales, deeply, and fights back the rage. "I do know," he says, sharply-- he can't keep it all in.
Darcy gives him a skeptical look. "You said you had no idea if Yvonne cheated."
"That's not the point," Hugh says, and leaves her at the sink.
