Well, not knowing who Anthony DiNozzo is, Michael's personality is 100% his own right now. Well, influenced by Harry Dresden. But so it goes.

Michael may just be my new favorite. <3 He's turned out pretty well-adjusted and it's nice to see him getting along with Aaron. And now I definitely want to see him go to the show with them!

considering his childhood, Michael is pretty normal.
and Aaron seems to like just about anyone.

Aaron tends to like people unless they give him a reason not to, yeah. And Michael's childhood was different from Danny's. He got smothered and overprotected (except by Danny) rather than overpunished, so he occasionally suffers from an excess of confidence rather than Danny's excess of anger. Different kinds of emotions from different kinds of abuse, I guess.
