Yay, I was hoping for some Clara stuff down the line! This was super intense. Poor Travis took a few metaphorical punches to the face there. He seems like he's embraced his human side more than his Cilnar side. Also, the mentions of Amber do not bode well for what she's like post-Jaime. Boo on her for hurting Isadora, BOOOO.
I like Clara, though, and I think I like Margot too, in a different way. (*smirk* 'fuckbishop' *smirk*)
So all the Seers come from the Mendoza family, then? When Bianca left the City, did they have to wait until she died for a new one? It's a pretty crucial role. Sounds like it would suck for them to have to go a long while without one.

Agreeing with Marina: this is coming back with a bang indeed. Poor Travis: the bang seems to be many many things impacting his psyche. And poor Isadora. *hugs her* Does she get better?
Love the use of the Folding Rule as a bookend.

move went okay! aaaas you can kind of tell by how much i've been not-around, it and school swamped me, though. but i like my new house, my room has two closets. *is Very Proud of her two closets and the myriad of jokes she can make with them*
*curtsy* thank you! and she does. i think. i honestly can't remember where i was going with this, but her not getting better would be somewhat pointless, since i try to only kill/$otherbadthing people off when you know them well enough to be howling because of it... oh wait that makes me sound like a terrible person. oops.
ee, thanks.
