Yup. Pretty much all of Olivia's issues come from this one day. From later things that Yvonne does to support them, too, but they all start on this day, and they're all Yvonne's fault. I'm glad Yvonne is hateable but worth reading about, if that makes sense? Anyway, thanks for reading!

Oh, Olivia. :( When I first read that this had happened in the piece where she tells Jake, I couldn't understand why she had gone, but now I can see why she thought she had no other choice. GRRRR YVONNE GRRRR. It is all so tragic. I am SO GLAD Olivia got out as soon as she could.

Yeah, basically she went because she was thirteen and she'd just had her entire world pulled out from under her. If she'd been older, if she hadn't had that fight with her father, if her mother had been just a liiiittle bit less persuasive... an AU is born. *shifty eyes* And yeah, booking it was absolutely the best thing and probably the only thing Olivia could do, for her mental health if nothing else.

I love how you moved the piece from Olivia worrying about a slumber party to this awful, life-changing situation and it felt completely natural and fit together beautifully. Oof, this is crushing-really enjoyed it though ♥

I was trying to put little bits and pieces of the awfulness into her conversation with Mimi to make just that happen, and it seems to have worked, so hurray! And yeah, don't believe Yvonne. She speaks lies.
