Leaning against the bar as she waited for the next round of drinks to be made, Angie took a moment to observe the group that she had just left. The two giants weren’t paid much attention to, since she highly doubted that she would be able to use them in any way. They were Sarah’s friends, and that was all. Finding a way to hurt her little sister by hurting the two men would be too time consuming, and possibly not painful enough.
There was always the chance that she could reveal what exactly Sarah was to them. It wouldn’t be hard to bring up their childhood, and then talk about how Little Sister had watched as she got beaten, not stepping in or speaking up to defend her. It wouldn’t be hard to tell them how precious little Sarah had played favorites to make sure that a hand had never been raised against her and both of her siblings took the fall. Let’s see how much they loved the little bitch then, once her true nature had been revealed... But no, that wasn’t enough. Not yet. Alienating her friends and making them abandon her would be a nice coup de grace, but it wasn’t hard enough for a first blow.
She mentally stored that idea away for later, moving on to the only other person in the group; Adrianna, or whatever her name was... There were certain possibilities there. It was easy to see that Sarah cared for her, though Whatsherface obviously didn’t return the sentiments. Angie grinned as the idea came to her, sudden, simple, and sweet. How to hurt Sarah without actually throwing a punch?
Destroy what she loves the most.

Title: Sarah Doesn’t Know
Story:
PhaseTimeline: March 2013 - Andy is 28, Oz is 27, Angie is 26, Adrianna and Sarah are 24 - Set the night after
Shame.
Challenge: Chocolate #7 (regret), Strawberry Banana #7 (roughhousing)
Word Count: 834
Rating: PG-13
“Sarah, I really need to talk to you!” Adrianna nearly yelled, making sure the shorter woman could hear her over the music that blared from the stage. It was the night after the stupidest decision she had ever made, and the only person that didn’t know was Sarah. She had begged Andy and Oz not to mention anything, since this really seemed like something she should do herself, but the chance hadn’t come up. It had started to seem like the chance would never come up.
“After Angie’s band gets off the stage! I don’t get to see then play much!” Sarah answered, just as loudly, and Adrianna frowned as she gave her that same twitchy, too bright smile that she had been sporting since Angie showed up in the first place. What was that even about?
Shaking her head, Adrianna grabbed Sarah’s arm to lightly tug her in the direction of the exit as Angie’s band started into their encore. The song sounded familiar to her, a song from some movie that Andy had walked around singing for a while, but she couldn’t remember what it was at the moment. “Sarah, please! We really need...” She trailed off as Angie started to sing, now recognizing the song, though she was sure that the lyrics had been different the last time she had heard them.
“Sarah doesn’t know
That Adri and me
Do it in my van
Every Sunday...”
Dread curdled in her stomach, making her nauseous. Usually, anyone pulling this would be lame, and she’d be laughing along with everyone else. But watching the comprehension dawn on Sarah’s face before it turned into what could only be described as pure torment made Adrianna feel like she should be burned at the stake. She turned and pushed through the crowd, making her way to the exit as soon as she could. She thought she might have caught a glimpse of Oz trying to calm down a furious Andy, but didn’t stop to check. The club was suddenly too crowded, and far too loud. She needed to get out.
As she leaned against the side of the building, Adrianna tried to wish the last few thirty six hours away. She didn’t see or hear Sarah follow her outside until the other woman was speaking.
“...Do I even have to ask what the fuck that was about, or should I use my wonderful deduction skills to figure it out?” Sarah asked, her voice finally changed from the overly cheerful tone she had been using the past few days. “What the fuck, Adri? You - You slept with Angie? My sister?”
“I’m not exactly proud of it, okay? I tried to tell you earlier, but things kept getting in the way. I swear, if I knew she was going to do this-“
“Do this? This is all she does! All she ever does is take everything that I love and do her best to destroy it from the inside out.”
“Oh, please.” Adrianna sighed, wiping her eyes before tears could actually fall. Even now, she avoided looking at Sarah, too afraid of what she might see in her expression. “Please. You don’t love me.”
Sarah laughed, small and bitter. “How would you know what I feel when you never take me seriously? Obviously, I should have been more masculine, or maybe more of a douchebag. That seems to be your poison of choice, right?” She ignored Adrianna’s flinch at that, and tried to ignore the fact that it was suddenly so hard to breathe. She had been so good at ignoring everything around her, at one point. How she wished she still had that ability. “You know what, Adri... You just... Whatever.” She threw her hands up, turning around and walking away. “What the fuck ever.”

“Enjoy the show, little sis?” Angie chuckled as she watched Sarah stalk towards her. “I hope you don’t mind that I forgot the dedication for the encore.”
A snarl escaped her as she threw the first punch, and the small sense of victory that Sarah felt when the hit landed squarely against Angie’s jaw quickly faded. Cradling her injured hand to her chest as Angie went down, she aimed a kick at her older sister’s stomach before backing off. “If you ever go near her again, I will kill you. You can fuck with my life all you want. I deserve that. But you do not hurt her just to get back at me!”
Angie wheezed, and after a moment Sarah realized she was actually laughing. She stared for a long moment, bewildered, before she finally shook her head in disgust. “I just don’t understand how you can be like this, Angie. Even for what you went through... You shouldn’t be this unhappy. I’m starting to think you want to be this way.”
Sarah turned, walking away and leaving Angie where she was, bleeding from the mouth and laughing as if she would die of it.
