I love the descriptions in this! The beginning is especially moving, though I have to admit I have no idea what's going on, which I suppose is a greater compliment to you as a writer. Even though I don't know either of these characters, I still desperately want to know what happens!

Awww. *sniffle* Lena stories always break my heart, and this one was no exception, but it was a happy sort of heartbreak, especially at the beginning when Lena just stopped hurting-- you sort of get the feeling that it's the first time in her LIFE that she hasn't been hurting. Poor girl. I'm so glad that she got Karen, at least, and that she was loved and loved in return.
