The first line made me LOL! But the rest of it made me feel really sorry for Eleazar. Trust is hard for parents to do sometimes. I hope they let him go soon :)

Haha, I didn't realize the humor in that line until after I'd posted it, but I'm glad you like it. Eleazar's parents are (understandably) concerned about letting him loose with a firestarting ability in a largely non-magical place, but he just needs to show them that they can trust him. In my mind, he gets his act together within the next year.
