The day was going so well until the cops came.
They barged into his office without so much as a knock, hauled him up from his desk, handcuffed him and read him his rights, without listening to anything he said, without caring about his protestations of innocence. They didn't even bother telling him what he was charged with-- no, he had to see Jacob Foster in the hall, his arms crossed and a satisfied look on his face, before he figured it out.
"Traitor!" George yelled, as the cops hauled him along.
"Next time try somebody bribeable," Foster replied, unruffled.
