Lorelai shuts her phone and stares at it for a silent minute.
Jana, sitting across from her with her feet up, raises her eyebrows. "Lore? Something wrong?"
"He dumped me," she says, still in shock.
"The hell?" Jana jolts upright, swinging her feet to the floor "No. No, he doesn't dump you, you dump him."
"He fucking dumped me," Lorelai says, and feels her fingers crook into claws. "The asshole! I gave him everything!"
Jana moves next to her, puts her arm around Lorelai's shoulders. "I'm so sorry, sweetie. He just didn't know what he had."
Neither did she, apparently.
