Ohhhh. Interesting way to handle a writer's troubles-showing Rory feeling the very same! :D And having trouble not being too thorough, as you would. ;) I really like the way you portrayed his difficulties, Amy's gentle probing and support, and their differences writing-wise. Your portrayal of what those years truly had been like too, vs. how she might imagine them. Nicely done, this is a pretty clever way to pull it off :)
Haha, yeah. I did have this crisis where either I had to have a major plot run away with us (not the purpose of this piece) or I had to find a way to fast forward hundreds of years. I chose to fast forward :D
Not being thorough is such a problem! I wish I was an Amy as a writer, but I'm really not - I did identify quite a lot with poor Rory's issue here. Luckily, we could both use the same quick trick to get past the loooong years of sameness :D
I've only got half the next section completed (eeep), but I'm working on it. It should be fun anyway. there's something really quite fascinating about the Knights Templar.
I miss Rory too much for it to be really healthy. But that's what fic is for, yes yes?
