Law officers have an amazing loyalty to their own. I remember down in Chile, an officer (carabinero as they are called there) died and the church was FILLED with many many Chilean cops. It was quite a beautiful sight to see them all in uniform.

Yeah, when you see it first-hand it makes quite an impact and it's no longer just an anonymous person, it's a regular guy who gave his life trying to keep people safe. -mamasita
