that was adorable! I liked most how Germany still seemed lost and muddling and even at the end you kind of left it ambiguous and wow I'm not making much sense. But yeah, I really liked it.

Thank you so much! I'm glad the muddled feeling came across, I wanted to leave the ending ambiguous but still satisfying. I'm glad you enjoyed it! ♥

Okay, I admit it: I teared up when Italy did. You did a great job with this! I loved the way you used the paint, first on the canvas and then on their skin and the fact that they literally found each other in it by drawing their younger selves. I loved the little details, too, like Germany's (realistically behaving) dogs and his ungelled hair and etc; all of the little details made the story that much more lovely. Thank you for writing it!

Aww, thank you so much! I wanted to let the paint do the talking, instead of either of them saying or thinking anything outright. And hah, I've spent so much time around dogs that it's pretty easy for me to write them. Thank you for the very kind comment! ♥

This was absolutely beautiful! <3
I liked how they interacted and how heartwrenching it was to read about Italy describing HRE. I liked how it seemed like Italy sort of knew what was going on, but he doesn't confront it outright.
I also liked how Germany did seem lost the whole time. It was like grasping at memories that were slipping from his fingers~ How poetic the whole thing was!
I agree with lanwut, the whole ambiguous feeling to this was simply fabulous!

Oh yeah, in my mind Italy does know, or at least hopes, but it's probably the one thing he will never talk about directly with anyone. I tried writing it with that knowing-but-never-saying feel, so it makes me really happy to hear that came across to the readers. :D

Thank you so much, I'm so glad you liked it!

Thank you so much! I always have a lot of fun with their interactions, and this was a lot different than how I usually write them (because they were leaving so much unsaid). I'm glad you liked it! :D

also I hope you're feeling better!! ♥~

I...I'm so incoherent right now. This is so good and it looks like I don't have the right words to say.

But I will say this. This was beautiful and the imagery was alive and well and it was perfect.

Aaaah...thank you.
