[Nathaniel knocked quietly on the door - just two short raps before stepping backwards, watching the doorway; if he knew Natasha - and he thought he knew this much, at least - she would hear it.]

[Natasha was in the middle of a set of crunches when she heard the knock on the door. She wasn't expecting anyone so she got up quietly and reached for the small handgun she keep underneath a coffee table and proceeded to open the door. She visibly sighed when she saw who it was and leaned against the door, a light sheen of perspiration on her skin.]

Please tell me I'm hallucinating or something.

If you shot everyone who knocked at your door I imagine I'd know about it. [He walked in, flashing her a small smile.]
