16 times now I've been asked to explain/tell/show how I do this by different people over the last month.. Apparently what I do has given some really good results :D.. But it's incredibly difficult to describe it all in tells, and even in a PM.. So, I just decided I'm going to post it all here and whenever I'm asked about it again I'll just /point

But I <3 tool bags. :)
Read through that post in the link, and those macros look pretty awesome.. I'm not too great with the coding or whatever it is it says that I would need to do though^^;.. So not too sure if I could get it to work right even if I wanted to, lol.
Thanks for the link though, I'll see if I can try it out this weekend. :D

I kind of came to doing this the same way myself.. In my static on NIN we would exp off IT++ mobs that would rarely miss, and wearing too much enmity gear would make tanking more difficult, and in the long run made my hate holding worse if I got hit.. At the same time though, the people in my static were all decked out in the best DD gear (rich LS friends, lol), so not using some type of enmity would make me a leech NIN that couldn't hold hate... So, I just decided to sub in evasion instead, and put enmity gear in macros for when I need it. It made tanking easier, and I held hate fine. :)
I first did that around level 64, and from there on I just added onto it and developed it more until it came to where it is at now.. As I described in this post.^^

Would it be feasible to macro in Haste gear after my utsusemi cast? I read somewhere the you don't have to wear it full time to get the minus from your timer, just at the beginning of the cast. I'm thinking about macroing in a quick belt (speed belt? I wish...) and my fumas after the casting of utsusemi. I realize I won't get the benefit of haste for my elemental ninjitsu, but I try to go slowly with that anyway, in order to develop tp. Good idea? Bad idea?

Originally I tried to macro enmity into provokes, but it didn't work well for me.. Especially since the amount of enmity gear I had built up fast.
So I just made separate macros.. One or two that changed me into enmity gear, followed by my original provoke macro, and then another one or two that changed me back to normal gear.
And yes, you don't need to wear haste gear full time to get the effect on your Ni recast timer. You only need to have the haste equipment equiped when you finish casting the spell. However, if you equip it when you start casting the haste will apply for how long it takes to cast the spell as well as the /recast, so I recommend that over anything else. Faster cast = less interuptions.
