At Wizard Quest, we needed a group name. Raoul had brought along a stuffed knitted raccoon as a gift from one of her loves and the raccoon's name was Oddbit. Oddbit was to be photographed during Raoul's travels. He quickly became our group's mascot, posing with food and at different photo opportunities. It only seemed natural to use his name for our group name at WQ and of course, the wandering bit was about the nature of our travels -- wandering about Wisconsin and Iowa. :)
