Well. I think I've discovered the mystery of why some of us Canadians didn't know that The Return, Part Deux was showing on Monday: it was Movie Central, not The Movie Network, that aired it.

TMN is what traditionally shows SGA in Canada. Movie Central I do not receive, so this makes me feel marginally better about missing it.

Still, what's up TMN?

I am so glad that you're interested in Dragaeran universe! I had despaired of finding anyone who also lives in Canada. Brust seems so much more popular in the States than up here.

hey! nice to see a fellow fan! i absolutely love his books. i've actually only read the khaavren romances (minus the last one), but i'm already in love and can't wait to read about vlad.

i've just noticed that there isn't a whole lot of fans (it seems) on LJ (or at least not a lot who are participating in the fandom).

but yeah, i was worried that, since i've only heard about brust appearing at conventions in the states, i wouldn't get a chance to meet him. BUT.. he's going to be in niagara falls (US) in april, and i'm so going to be there ^___^ lucky for us ontario girls, eh?

Hey, I didn't even know about him in Niagara Falls. I wish I wasn't in the middle of exams at that point..sighs...

I am just making my way through 500 hundred years after, and I really like Khaavren. He seems rather like a person who can be laughing internally at everything when th mood hits, and not show a singel emotion on his face during duty. Very different than the brief glimpse you get of him in "Teckla". (but then, he's not fond of Eastereners and he's confronted by Vlad, so what can you expect?)

I hope you can read the Vlad series. Let me knwo if you need to chronological order of the books, becasue taht is the best way to read them.
