Holy hell do I agree with this. Could never get myself to watch (more than 10 minutes of) Simoun though, for some reason.

You should try Canaan, if you haven't already. Especially so if you liked Noir.

Simoun is actually kind of slow, as there is a lot of narration. :/

I finished the anime and have concluded they are a married couple. I don't think I've shipped a pairing as much as I've shipped them. In like, ever. Or enjoyed a yuri anime so much even.

Ahahaha join the club, both myself and my girlfriend RP Anubituf and Guragief.. and yes it was a wonderful wonderful series (and yes Anubituf and Guragief.. that's canon gay RIGHT THERE. (and surprisingly it's very popular with the japanese as far as a pairing goes)

The girlfriend and I would be doing the same but she has not yet seen enough of Simoun. We'll be watching probably in the weekend when she comes over.

I squeed so hard when Anubituf kissed Guragief. The fact that it was just ONE KISS for the whole 26 episodes kind of broke my brain. Canon Gay is the best Gay.

Episode 22 with Anubituf in his flying gear was still the best episode for me. I get the impression that he really can't do anything without making it even just a tiny bit flashy.
