Good news.  I just managed to get a contract to polish up a half-written novel and ghostwrite the remainder.  It's not the same as getting my own novel published (no fame or royalties on this one) but it's real money and an interesting challenge.  It's 90,000 words which is a fair bit for two months, but not only is half of it done but there's also
