What kind of chest pains are these? Do they happen just for a moment, or do they last for several minutes? Does breathing hurt? Do you feel dizzy? Unlikely to be heart pains at your age, but what do i know :p

I had chest pains for ages and thye have only recently gone. I could only breathe in so much until this pain shot through me...it was also on my right side but it went through to my back. It felt muscular too, but I could stretch it out and massage didn't work either.

I went to the doctor and he pressed on a few areas (either side of the sternum, under each armpit and back beneath each shoulder blade) and I had to tell him if it hurt or not. In the end it was the right side that hurt...the issue I had (or what he thought I had) could be stress induced or viral. He gave me antibiotics...they didn't work. So either it was stress induced or he got the diagnosis wrong.

Not that I ever got it checked out, but whenever I get severely stressed, I get chest pains, and so does my housemate. We always just thought it was a normal reaction. Perhaps it is? Luckily the holidays are coming soon.

Get better *hugs*
