May all the nerdy kids in Elementary School and Junior high be blessed with a little bit of extra vision, dignity, compassion and self-respect today.
May your sweet little gifts given with with all your bright passionate nervous upward beating little hearts be received kindly. May you get the coolest card in the pack from that special One that you've been thinking of.
And if you get passed over or rebuffed - even if your offerings are torn up and thrown in your face in front of all the lucky pretty and popular kids - may you be granted a moment of Grace. May you feel a ray of power reaching out to you from your future self. May you realize that it's all just a bunch of monkey business and these are just kids who won't even matter to you when you come into your true glory. May you know that your true worth may be invisible now, but it is bright and strong and growing inside of you every single moment, especially in this moment - and someday, someday, you will be avenged.
