As it turns out, Eds ass is much too pretty for DeviantART. Much, MUCH too pretty. So pretty, that DA admins removed it TWICE from my gallery under the excuse of 'underaged nudity' - and maybe even a third time.

dA can be a really strange place sometimes. I've seen a lot of that tasteless and, in some cases, really vulgar stuff there. I once saw a photo there of a guy totally nude, junk all hangin out, who didn't look like he was over 18 and yet there he was in all his glory for all the world to see and not one thing had been done about it. Draw one pic of a nude guy, from the back no less!, and it's the biggest taboo ever. Bite me dA. >.<

Yeah it seems like DA has a double standard for things like this. Its the same for BL too - DA hates it (they don't say it out loud, but it's pretty obvious) and yet they love anything with women, including yuri. It seems like most of the mods/admins are straight men XD

Yeah deviantart sucks. They have a policy that if a character is underage in the series, than they are considered underage in all art, which is especially dumb in series like fma where the character ages through the course of the series. I've had pictures removed where the character were fully clothed and not touching at all, much less in a way that could be construed as a sexual manner. *rage* At least you got the admins to actually talk to you. They always ignore my protests.

Did you go to the helpdesk to ask? I ignored that and noted the fanart admin personally, and they answered a few hours after the note was sent, which was pretty good. But they haven't replied to my 'if I drew CoS Ed, would it still be the same since he is 18 throughout the whole of Cos?'

Apparently I didn't go through the right channels. At this point though, it's not worth it anymore. :/

I can't say I'm surprised. I don't like the sporadic way they're enforcing it, but they have good reason for having that rule. I don't even try to post borderline images there.
